Saw a guy on Instagram comment that DL should remove CUF and TLFL from the setlist and replace them with GOW. Seriously? I think there is more than enough Hysteria in the setlist already. Oh no. No no no. Great song but no. Seems they are cozy with this set list. I’m happy and not to be greedy but was really hoping to hear Billy. My shows are next week. Think my chances are shrinking.

If they are planning to swap Billy for CUF, my guess is the swap will happen in the middle of the run. There are 27 shows. So.... show 14 (Hollywood Florida, Aug 9th) will likely be either the final CUF performance or the first Billy performance if a swap is going to occur.

They are celebrating PYROMANIA(40 years)..why would they cut CUF and TLFL? And add GOW? Makes no sense...right?... AND This is the first time ever playing CUF live, so I doubt they will cut it.

I don't see them retiring anytime soon, so please stop! LOL I think they model themselves after The Rolling Stones as far as their longevity and they are still at it soooooo....hopefully DEF LEP follows suit. I feel it's up to Rick and whether he can still handle it all physically, like Neil Peart from Rush who allegedly called it quits because of arthritis and age. Little did everyone know something else was going on . . . Or in the future, it could be Joe and his voice . . . ANYWAY, lets cross our fingers. I know there is a new album coming by next summer...so more touring And again...and again...there will be a next time

GOW is my favorite ever Lep song, however I think the 1-2-3 shot of CUF/TLFL/DHTH with 73 right before it is one of my favorite runs in a set they've ever done. Def Leppard has released over 50 singles in their career. They could just play "hits" and fill up three setlists. There's always going to be fans that want to hear one song over another. Would I love to change their setlist? Put in Wasted instead of Love Bites? Sure, but that is never happening. I'm just thrilled they are still playing live and are still putting in the effort to change up their setlist from tour to tour.

Maybe this doesn’t belong here but I’m just thinking about it. Guess I should know this but where’s Wolfie?

After having attended a show now, just wanted to see what people are thinking about this new stage setup with the U shaped thrust?
Personally, I don't think I care for it that much and prefer just a straight out thrust. I feel like this new one is so big that at times I struggled knowing where to look and almost feel like in a weird way I missed a portion of the show at times. It was just impossible to watch the side screens, main screens, stage and thrust all at the same time.
And while I'm not sure if this is the same at every show, I also didn't like how far away the barricades were keeping fans. I was sitting in a seat right next to the end of the thrust on Viv's side, in seat 1 which had no other seats between me and the thrust. However, I was still about 20 feet from the barricades and then it was still probably another 20 feet to the stage. It just felt weird having so much "open" space all around the thrust which kind of made it feel like an "impersonal" show if that makes any sense. At least security did a good job of keeping people out of the open area so that I had a great view. But not long ago, my seat would've been right near the thrust, slapping high fives with Joe lol. And now that same seat is like 50 feet away.
And while I wasn't in the pit, those seats didn't look all that great to me either. The thrust looked pretty high so it seemed like you might have a tough time seeing over that thrust in spots. And it seemed like mostly you'd spend most of the time just looking at the guy's backsides more than anything else.
I do get it though. I mean, it's tough having a "good" seat in a stadium setting so I can appreciate what they're trying to do with this larger thrust setup and giving more people a "good" seat. I think in general I'm just not really a fan of these stadium shows and miss seeing the band in more intimate settings.
Don't get me wrong though...still a great show with one of the best setlists they've played in quite awhile (even though I'm slightly disappointed that I still haven't seen Comin' Under Fire live!)

The next four shows are in the Central time zone, which is where I live. After that all of the shows are in the Pacific time zone except one, which is in the Mountain time zone. For me that means all remaining shows end at either 11PM, 12AM or 1AM. That's later than I'm willing to sit in front of my computer in order to cover the shows real time. So.... no more real time show coverage from me for this tour. I will post any show updates that are available prior to the shows and, as always, I'll post updates in the days after each show.

In simple terms I think this show is very much like the ITR gigs in that if you’re in the pit or close then you’re constantly looking around to see someone in the band. If you want to see the full show you’re better off higher up, but in these stadiums that isn’t a particularly great position to be in as you’ll be so far away (unlike an ITR show in an arena).

I'm glad I read your post before buying tickets yesterday. When looking at videos and pictures it is overwhelming to see how large the stage thrust is, how much ground is covered, and taking that into consideration on what tickets would be best for the price. I passed up on rows 5 & 6 because they seemed almost too close, and those were higher $$. After years of amphitheaters and arenas, my ticket buying plan and overall fan expectations has to be different for a stadium floor. I'll see how it goes! very excited either way

I'll see how it goes! very excited either way I got Pit tickets day of for St Louis and if you are row 9, you are far enough back to see whole stage etc. Any closer, and yes you can't see it all. I personally could care less about the band as I want to see the stage and light show and audio is the most important. I got front row in Portland (Brian Adams) and it was horrible as to the side and couldn't see anything. Also, right in front of the sub-woofer, so audio sucked. Great massage for the whole show though. HA I had first row, dead center in the seats for Monday's show in TX and it was fantastic (except for the Drunk People Barrier and center speaker stack which blocked 3% of the stage) as I had the best view of the production, light show etc. But yes, it was so far away you couldn't see the band. As long as they are in a Stadium, all seats will be far away, and they all suck to be honest. Imagine getting floor seats on the sides and getting there and realizing you can't see anything, especially of you are on the sides, or a few rows in front of the ramps.
