If def lep gets paid a fee, they could careless about ticket prices. They just want the stadium to look full. Watching st Louis and not cheap enough yet as have tixs for dallas. Last time got day before for under $40.
Only worry is great set list to start tour then back to hits when they get to dallas. If i knew they were starting with stage fright would be there

If i knew they were starting with stage fright would be there So the lure of CUF, DHTH and Billy isn't enough to get you to St Louis?

Think Lepps fee likely to be based on guarantee plus a percentage once the break even point in $ is reached. This likely to be based on information the concert promoter is privy to. As Lepps close these North American shows, rather than alternating this maybe suggests better success than the band they were touring with VIP tickets for previous stadium runs. Stadiums rather have people stay for the final set, sell more chicken fingers!
Dynamic pricing means many concerts sell out slower but the early birds pay higher prices and then there are a lot of VIP options which see's lots of $$ spent for relatively few seats sold.

But no, those songs are not enough to drive 5 hours, get a hotel etc, when I have seen then 40 times. So CUF is the only one of those I have not heard live and i "should" hear it then unless they change the set list. Yes, dallas 6 hours but got a perfect seat for a great price and I can park free a block away at a work location. I can also work and not take vaca and miss journey etc.

The last time I saw them was the last Vegas residency, so I've not attended any of the stadium shows.
After seeing the SiriuxXM setlist, I grabbed my SoFi ticket. It's not just CUF, but Die Hard even sounded better to me than it did in Vegas, and Rock, Rock is one song that has eluded me for all of these years. It's also just that the setlist is pretty damn fresh by throwing out the usual "required."
Anyway...so I guess I'm going after all.

If they can tour doing the entire Hysteria album, they can tour doing almost the entire Pyromania album. Both albums have that status where they can get away with that kind of focus. They also need to make this tour distinctive somehow, being that they aren't touring behind a new album, and making it a celebration of Pyromania is perfect.

It sure did! So glad I got my ticket and a pretty good one with being close to the outer ring stage. It's not just about the setlist so much as the scale of it all and seeing them in that element at this point in their career.

Rick Allen's new bass drum head!
Wow - a changeable graphic drum head - this is VERY cool indeed! I have loved looking at all of the different videos available this morning. The graphics in Hysteria are awesome!

The crowds they're still managing to pull in, the size of this new stage and its layout all say to me that there is no reason why they can't do an in the round tour before they call it a day.

If I were a betting man I'd suggest an in the round stage would be used for the final/farewell tour. The use of the word final/farewell always brings the crowds out and it'd make sense for them to do this one last time. Anyway, I hope the promoters in the UK are watching and approach the guys with an offer acceptabe for a UK Arena tour.

Evidently this guy is a "spiritual advisor". Former monk according to his IG bio. Longtime friend of Rick's according to his post that goes with the video.

As most of you, I think it's great that more of Pyro is played. Those songs are the foundation of what I like most by DL.
But at the same time it's hard hearing Joe struggling and switching to his falsetto voice more often on some of these songs.
I wonder if they've considered to tune down a half step more (for certain songs).
What do you think, is it doable or would the vibe of the songs get lost by doing so?

Remember the entire band has to adjust vocally and musically. But like i said there is likely more to it.

Maybe his job is to advise them not to give up on doing a different setlist and not switching back to "all hits" before we're halfway into the tour.

Listen to the Leadmill version where Joe changes how he sings some of the lyrics to suit his voice now. They've been tuning down for years to help their voices, what another step would mean I don't know, thats one for the musicians.

So far we've been lucky to have lots of video posted from the 2024 tour. I've watched the entire St. Louis and Orlando shows and almost all of the Atlanta show. Three shows in, it looks like the band has settled in and is completely comfortable covering their massive, new stage. They sound amazing, look relaxed, and seem to be enjoying themselves. Such a gift in 2024!

Saw a guy on Instagram comment that DL should remove CUF and TLFL from the setlist and replace them with GOW. Seriously? I think there is more than enough Hysteria in the setlist already.
