I'm surprised... the local radio station is playing Let's Go today. I have never heard any radio station in this area play that song before. Is it a Classic Rock Radio Station or some other format? Def Leppard would get on the Radio easier if they changed their name .

Over the last week or so... Stone Temple Pilots - Core 25th Anniversary Box set. Love the live and unplugged stuff.
Foo Fighters - Concrete And GoldLast In Line - Heavy CrownTom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Anthology Through The Years plus select tracks from various studio albums throughout his career. And of course I've been going through everything I have from The Darkness between their studio albums and other tracks/b-sides. I'm really loving their new album Pinewood Smile. Still waiting on my deluxe edition to arrive with the bonus tracks. Right now I'm listening to Whitesnake's 2CD 30th anniversary edition of 1987. It's the first time I've ever listened to the album all the way through and it is quite good. But I'm really enjoying the live disc (featuring Vivian). It sounds like it's from various shows (mainly in Japan) but thankfully it has been mixed as a continuous show. Thanks for posting this - I must've been living under a rock as I had no idea they were re-releasing one of my all time favorite albums in a Deluxe package. Just picked it up a bit ago and am absolutely loving it. Remastered album sounds great, Only Dying is an absolute gem and their Unplugged was absolutely stellar - probably my favorite MTV Unplugged. That doesn't even go into the other live shows which are also great. The demos are a great listen too. One of the best Deluxe albums I've purchased for sure! Also enjoying new Darkness. The bonus tracks are well worth it. As much as I like the album I don't personally feel it tops their last one though.

Cranking on repeat a new CD I just got today....Debut album from a new UK band called Midnite city. Absolutely loving this CD....Throwback style 80's melodic rock very similar in approach to the Defiants/Danger Danger, etc. I also was drawn to this because I've seen a few different interviews with the lead signer Rob Wylde where he's talked about how big of an influence Def Leppard was on him. I know that doesn't mean much but still cool to hear This was their first single...Whole album is basically in the same style.

I am a radio junkie, but lately I've been trying to pull out a random older cd to take in the car with me. This past week, for most of my travel time, I indulged in Vivian Campbell "Two Sides of If". For my vinyl listening, while working out or housework, it's been Ray Parker Jr. Go figure.

In anticipation of the release of the Down 'n' Outz 2014 Sheffield show, I ordered the Japanese CD/DVD release of Live At The Hammersmith Odeon. I got the (signed) DVD when it was released back in 2011, but I've only gotten it to actually play on my computer and haven't watched it in years. I remember around the time of its release, there was a lot of debate about how much of it was truly live...
I'm glad to have the album on CD and have a proper DVD via the Japanese re-release from last year. I popped it into my PS4 and was happy that it worked just fine, so I can finally watch it on the big screen... Though I don't know how much that helped things. Re-watching it has only reminded me of how this album/show seems even less live than Kiss Alive! or Thin Lizzy's Live And Dangerous. I always suspected tha it sounded way too good but the video really shines a light on that. It's neat that it is documented but as a 'live' release it's not even remotely authentic. It's more like an hour long promo video for the My ReGeneration album.

Holy crap I completely forgot about Santa Cruz, which is an odd name for a Finnish band. I remember seeing them on some kind of "band on the rise" show (AXS tv??) with Seb Bach, who was there to give them feedback (they performed with Bach watching unbeknownst to them) before Bach burst onto the stage and surprised them. Then Seb took the mic and sang as they played a Skid Row song.
So happy I opened this thread from the start and stumbled upon this band's name again. I will definitely do some "investigative research" on them and see if I still like them as much as I did on that TV show.
As for what I've been listening to most lately:
The Warning!! A lot of The Warning and their disc XXI Century Blood. I think I'm becoming obsessed since they opened for Def Lep in Mexico.
Some Def Leppard, of course! Mostly a mix of live and original album stuff I've got loaded on my phone as part of a 40 song "greatest hits" of sorts I've dubbed Def Leppalogue.
And when I'm at work, I jam out to Def Lep covers that are done by this super talented bloke named Ben on Youtube (bwm5150). I reckon most of y'all have already come across him, but if not, check him out. You will NOT be disappointed...rather you won't be able to get enough! \m/

Listen all the great Queen songs, after a long time.Would it be great,if Def Leppard make a song with Brian May?No live song,I mean a new track for a new CD.Maybe with a cool guitar-riff and co-vocals by Brian May.

Been listening to a lot of Metallica since seeing them last week. I always thought they were too heavy for me to get in to back in the 80s, but they have some great songs within that time period before the black album. I also purchased the live audio of the show I went to see last week, (Manchester), the turnaround in those shows is really quick and the quality of the mixing and mastering sounds really good to me. It must be a huge machine behind the scenes they have to be getting these shows mixed and mastered in the middle of such a busy tour.

I bought the St. Louis show I went to on CD, which took a little longer than the downloads, but was well worth it. I agree in that the mixing and mastering are really good. Better than some officially released live albums I've heard and much better than most after-show live releases I've heard.

The only show I've ever picked up from anyone other than Metallica was on Thunders farewell tour in 2009, we had to wait in line after the show for about half an hour whilst a huge CD burner was churning them out by the bucket full. They would have been mastering that on the fly and whilst its a great memento of the show, its doesn't sound as good as these Metallica shows where they give themsleves more time to get them ready for release.

I know we've talked about this a little before and know that other bands have done this sort of thing. I do so wish Leppard would consider doing something like this for one of their tours. Been listening to a lot of Metallica since seeing them last week. I've been listening to Def Leppard's last album on vinyl - still such a great album. Thunder - Rip It Up. Queen - A Night At The Odeon Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy ( inspired by the Download announcement) Bon Jovi - Have A Nice Day ( under rated and perhaps their best post-Crush album). Also been listening to The Darkness - Pinewood Smile online, I can't wait to buy it on vinyl. Also I asked Santa for The Quireboys new one 'White Trash Blues'.

Iron Maiden Book of Souls Live Chapter, considering this album is culled from different shows it still has a decent flow to it. They sound great as usual too. Its a pity they didn't include Tears of a Clown and Hallowed be thy Name from the first leg of the tour, but overall its an excellent document of the tour.
AC/DC, had a Brian Johnson fronted playlist in the car this weekend.
