I'm discovering AC/DC at the moment. Anyone know if they're likely to tour again any time soon or have they retired ?

I'm discovering AC/DC at the moment. Anyone know if they're likely to tour again any time soon or have they retired ? With Brian Johnson out of the band and Cliff Williams retired, it doesn't look good for any future tours, but who knows I am so glad I went to their Kansas City show last year. It was the last time Brian performed with the band.

Hysteria, I was going to wait until the new remastered version comes out but all this talk of the 30th anniversary has seen me dig out my original cd for the car. 30 years old is a huge number thats flown by so fast, just think 30 years before Hysteria was 1957 and in 87 my grandparents were still listening to their favourite artists from the 50's and that seems like a completely different world. Yet to me Hysteria is still current and fresh. Time flies.

Hardline Double Eclipse is a great record!! Not to mention, this one highlights Neal Schon on guitar and drummed by Deen Castronovo from Journey! I've also been listening to Deen's new band, Revolution Saints. Also been listening to some Grunge...lol. Temple of the Dog, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters annnnd of course Def Leppard the Original Pyromania

For the journey to work today what else would I be listening to other than Hysteria?

Been listening to the 2 Inglorious Albums non stop. If David Coverdale had a kid who was in a band this guy would be it. Monster Vocalist and band.
Also listening to some of the tracks from the New H.E.A.T Album.... can't wait for the New Album in Sept.
Also listening to the New Warrant Album ... wasn't much of a fan back in the day but i have to say they did a solid job on this.
Also listening to Tokyo Motor Fist. Steve did a great job on this album.

Will be curious to hear what you think of the sound/remastering work on the main disc. I never bought the 2006 remaster/deluxe edition so the remastering is one thing I'm kind of looking forward to this time around. Haven't gotten mine yet...Hopefully will be there when I get home from work later today. Listening to ITR IYF

They should have released a live album imo as well as the video back then.

This last week has been Hysteria and more Hysteria with the discs from the deluxe boxset getting lots of play. Today I've had a slight change and gone back a few years to listen to their BBC sessions from 1979, quite a stark contrast to the band they turned into 8 years later with the Hysteria album.

The two Mott albums (Drive on and Shouting and Pointing). Inspired by the Down n Outz I checked them out and I quite like them. The general concensus appears to be the preceding Mott the Hoople albums are far better, but I personally prefer the rockier Mott albums.
Also bought a turntable and am massively appreciating Thin Lizzy's Bad Reputation more on vinyl than CD.

Enjoying the 2 Darkness tracks that they've released so far from the new album. I can't get the chorus of Solid Gold out of my head, inspired:
Took a break from Hysteria and had Stone Temple Pilots debut and a Megadeth best of in the car, quite a departure from Leps.

LOL.....Killer chorus!!! Ive been, for some weird reason, listening to alot of soundtrack music/scores. Young Guns 2, Back To the future this week.

Enjoying the new songs from Foo Fighters, The Darkness, and Weezer since they all have new albums out over the next couple of months.
Ripped the audio from Garbage's One Mile High... Live Bluray onto my iPod so listening to that too... And then just letting my iPod run on shuffle.
This is all after a couple of weeks of Hysteria. Mainly the remastered album, as the bonus discs lost their luster very quickly.
