Have only heard One Desire out of those but dig that album. I see they are going to be touring Europe with H.e.a.t and Shiraz Lane. I'd absolutely love to be seeing that show. Have even toyed with the idea of trying to plan a trip to Europe to catch it but the wife vetoed that quickly lol. New Halestorm album. Like it much better than their last effort which got too poppy and commercial.
Also Kissing Dynamite - Ecstasy. Really digging this one and among my favorite albums this year. I started to get into these guys with their last release which was pretty good. But the new one blows the previous album away....fantastic melodic rock/hard rock....Very similar to Eclipse, H.e.a.t, etc IMO.

Enjoy your Frank Hannon. Vol.2 should be out now. Frank had a release show for vol.2 the week before heading out for the summer tour with Styx.

Good concert from Wimbley. All the hits. I liked some of the songs and liked ELO fromlate 1970s- 1980s, but I had friends who just loved ELO. The concert is featured this month on HBO. Check it out. Very good, very good show. Good music. Big band. Two drummers. It is worth watching.

Alice In Chains did it again with RAINIER FOG - great riffs, great depth/layering and of course the dual vocal harmonies. Been listening nonstop since release. ALL I AM is simply phenomenal, and why the title track was not a single (or the lead single) is mind boggling. Been a great year for new music.

I've always been a fan of Rush but when I saw them on their last tour, I became obsessed! I'm still working on getting all their albums. Would love for them to tour again but it doesn't look too promising.

September has been Myles Kennedy month thanks to the release of Alter Bridge's Live At The Royal Albert Hall. As always, the band's performance is top notch and I like the varied setlist. The orchestra is drowned out by the wall of sound that AB is from time to time but it's still a great show. And that has sent me on binge of all their studio albums and live albums as a result.
That will transition to Slash's new album being released at the end of this week. World On Fire was my favorite album of 2014 so I can't wait to hear the follow up that I've been waiting for ever since. I feel like I jinxed myself and made the unthinkable happen (the semi-reunion of GNR). Having looked at Slash's most recent sets, they look lighter on the GNR material which I hope remains the case as the tour continues. I definitely want more focus on Slash's output since 2010 rather than more GNR covers following the actual GNR tour. Hopefully I get a chance to see SMKC in 2019.
Oh, and having watched Alter Bridge's Royal Albert Hall Bluray, Def Leppard really needs to release their show from that venue. Perhaps release that show with the documentary???

New Midnite City album There Goes The Neighbourhood....Only a couple listens and already my favorite album this year. These guys are a pure late 80's flashback....kinda like Def Leppard, Poison, Warrant and Danger Danger tossed in a blender. I miss the days when a band like this would've been a perfect opening act for Def Leppard. Although, personally I still believe they'd be a great opening act as Leppard doesn't need another big band on a bill with them

Really digging his new album....Might just be my favorite release of theirs edging out Coup De Grace. They're another one of those bands that could've and probably should've become much bigger. But also they're a band that I feel like has really improved with age and have nailed these past few albums. I read that they were unfairly compared ro Europe in the 80s.... Dreamhunter is imo one of the best unknown gems from the 80s.

Currently having a bit or a resurgence of listening to a lot of Iron Maiden, and i say a lot because lets face it, as any maiden fan will know....there is a lot to cover !!
Also, def leppard related listening...i have really been enjoying the 'later on' period of Leppard in the last few weeks, giving the self titled album & Sparkle lounge a much welcomed place back in very heavy rotation as well as the more alternative cuts, giving Slang & retro-active serious play time, across the whole of Leppards career i still think Retro Active and Slang has some of their finest ever song writing moments in terms of lyrics and performance. Desert song, Fractured love, from the inside, all i want is everything, pearl of euphoria, where do love go when it dies for example. Leppard for all intents and purposes get branded as an 'arena rock band' known for their big anthems, moments like these show their incredible song writers rather than just an arena band !

Listening to Canadian band Triumph - Greatest Hits Remastered.
Best 3 piece band next to Rush in the world imo. Too bad they couldn't deal with each others ego.
Interesting note: Bon Jovi's New Guitarist Phil X Sang in TRIUMPH for one album after original singer Rik Emmett had quit the band.

Listened to most of the new Greta Van Fleet album and I was bored out of my mind. I skimmed through the last few songs because I couldn’t take it any more. I liked the more upbeat stuff on the first couple of EPs but they’ve lost what little interest I had in them.
Oh, and Hysteria. I listened to Hysteria.
