The novelty of these stadium shows is over. I know and completely understand this is where the money is but I'll be sitting this one out. It is just way too expensive to get good seats to see the stock set list and crappy stadium sound. Super proud of them to still be able to pull these off but wish they go smaller like arenas and theaters and play longer sets. Less is more....

My favourite ever Def Leppard show was in 2003 when they played the Manchester Apollo on the X tour. ( www.setlist.fm/setlist/def-leppard/2003/carling-apollo-manchester-manchester-england-33d5a071.html ) Possibly the best sounding venue in Manchester. I'd happily wait in the car park for a hour after the show to see them their again!!! Shame it'll never happen.

I suppose we have to circle back around to what might fill seats, but I just have a bad feeling as if this tour could hurt them ( it won’t) but, the fact they didn’t try to pair up with anyone newer, or do something different ? Rick Allen said it would different… I really hope it offers something unique, but I’m not convinced.

Yeah, I doubt it hurts them much. I mean, even though I don't care for Journey, they seem to sell tickets. I was just looking through some shows on their Freedom Tour with Toto in 2024 and the events I looked at seemed to be selling fairly well....which kind of surprised me as I just don't view Journey as that appealing of an act. Who really knows though with the games ticketmaster plays....Maybe the shows aren't selling as well as they appear. They could always be holding back tickets to make supply look lower so they can jack up prices Either way though, still not something that interests me in the least. I mean, Journey is playing about 20 minutes from my house on one of their Freedom Tour stops and I wouldn't attend that show if somebody gave me free front row tickets lol. I guess I just feel like Leppard has really increased their popularity the past couple years and been on an upward trajectory. But touring with Journey feels like they're stepping back in time or something. While I'm irritated some that they're doing another co-headline tour, I think what bothers me most is just that they're doing a tour that they literally just did in 2018. While I'd obviously much prefer them doing a headline tour of their own, if they have to have a co-headline tour, at least do it with a band they haven't already toured with recently to make it a little more interesting and maybe easier to justify the ticket costs. At the end of the day, it'll probably sell fine though because it's Leppard and they'll sell fine no matter what they do. But in this day and age of expensive tickets, I'm certainly not ponying up the money to see something I just saw fairly recently. I suppose we have to circle back around to what might fill seats, but I just have a bad feeling as if this tour could hurt them ( it won’t) but, the fact they didn’t try to pair up with anyone newer, or do something different ? Glad I can save my money for something else. The drama between Heart and Journey is a big turn off. I'd rather see them back at the Amphitheater, the skydome is is just concreate and sounds horrible.

It’s starting to look like Europe first with the Norway June 6th ‘leek’, then the US ‘leeks’ for August/September with Journey and Cheap Trick. This makes a change. Maybe we’ll get some UK dates or then again might it be a sole Download festival appearance? I sincerely hope not. UK arenas, yes please!!!! Where’s the Norway leak?
