Not sure i'll be attending this one, only reason being i can't for the life of me agree with this pricing structure, charging more for getting closer to the stage... Golden circle? I disagree with this American style of seat selling being pushed on those who want to watch them in the UK. Blimey these are a steal compared to the show at Wembley

I'd like to think that they could persuade Pete Willis to make a guest appearance here on a track if he was up for it. Why not bring it full circle? Also, I think they missed the boat with not releasing the full Don Valley show (yet) from 1993, so given that this gig would their first stadium show in Sheffield for almost 30 years it would be very remiss of them if they didn't film this show IMO. No chance Andy. I'm sure you know, Pete has never made an appearance actually playing with the band anywhere not least any time they've played Sheffield over the years. He's doing his own thing in property and I don't think they have the sort of relationship to make that happen. He didn't turn up for the rock and roll hall of fame although he was invited.

Golden Circle now appearing as sold out. Seats available down to about 1500. Given capacity will be about 35000, looks like over 30000 tickets sold. Good work.

Golden circle no longer being shown as sold out. Tickets available. Ticketmaster keep doing this. Looks like there's no tickets and then they add more. Wembley is worst for it. They've done it about 3 or 4 times. About 100 added from earlier this afternoon. I don't think anywhere near as many tickets have been sold for any venue as it looks tbh. Boo for Ticketmaster! As fans have to take seat maps as being correct, disgrace TM keeps updating seat maps the way they do. Little choice but to use them but do not like TM. Imagine Taylor Swift's US tour will sell out immediately no blue dots reappearing, should be same all shows.
Sheffield sales should be strong. Wembley think ok though blue dots appearing is very annoying. Lytham smaller venue 20000 will be ok. Glasgow and Dublin sales could be very soft.
Will leave it a few weeks before updating ticket sales!

I wonder if Joe and Sav had a coin flip about which Sheffield stadium they were going to play at. Would be hilarious if Sav played the whole show in a Sheffield Wednesday jersey with his SWFC themed bass in enemy territory. Kinda hoping we at least get the two of them in their respective team's gear for the encore like we did 30 years ago.

All of the pitch sold out, according to Ticketmaster, about 1400ish seats left, well on way to being sell out of around 35000. Good news.

Believe it or not, the next time we see the band on this tour will be in Sheffield. Almost 30 years to the day since Don Valley, this is going to be such an event.

I know the Ticketmaster criticism can get a bit tedious even though justified. Nonetheless, golden circle tickets on sale again at roughly original price after having appeared as sold out for several weeks. In that time I know someone who had to pay hand over fist for a ticket in golden circle having to pay some sort of VIP package. He's therefore had to pay over twice what he needed because of Ticketmaster's constant messing around with ticket availability trying to squeeze every penny/cent from fans. It's just completely dishonest and unnecessary.

Just 3 weeks to go which is very exciting and all, but still no support act mentioned? Very odd

With 3 weeks to go I think it's highly unlikely that there will be any notable support group added. Personally, I've never cared about the 'package' and its just been a premium I've had to put up with to see Def Leppard live which I'd my call and I can live with it. However, for those who are interested in the whole event then only 2 bands is a far cry from what was on offer in the US last year with Poison and Joan Jett or this year with Alice Cooper. I've now got my fingers crossed for an extended Def Leppard encore and 90+ minutes. Just 3 weeks to go which is very exciting and all, but still no support act mentioned? Very odd

Ticketmaster seating maps remain fluid, golden Circle, general standing available again in Sheffield. More seats available elsewhere, about 800 of them. Expectation must be that all the upcoming UK promo (likely TV appearances as well) will see this sell out.
Wembley has whole seated sections with very few tickets sold. Only half of the pitch being used. Likely capacity looks about 54,000, would estimate 40,000 sold. Maybe need another support act announced. Imagine renting Wembley would be one million plus.
Lytham only holds 20000, surprised not sold out, though ticket resale available on TM for some time. Manchester and Liverpool big cities nearby, lots of big towns, small cities as well. Expect sell out.
Glasgow and Dublin no clue on sales but both hold 35000, though Dublin has offered resale for months, Glasgow hasn't. Glasgow price of 90 pounds against London 62 pounds poor decision especially as Maiden, Kiss and GnR all playing Glasgow at about same time. Hard sell in Glasgow.

Ticketmaster seating maps remain fluid Something needs doing about the monopoly that ticketmaster seems to have and how they price shows and make tickets available. I agree with an earlier poster, the UK is slowly going the way of the US with fans being charged extortionate prices or made to believe that shows are selling better than they are to get you to buy these pricey tickets. Lytham only holds 20000, surprised not sold out, though ticket resale available on TM for some time. Manchester and Liverpool big cities nearby, lots of big towns, small cities as well. Expect sell out. Lytham is an outdoor festival, so I think it doesn't matter too much what cities are nearby. If they were playing one of the arenas I think thats a bigger draw than going to see a band in a field, where it could potentially be crappy weather. Plus all the other hassles that go with festivals like travelling, parking, the fact that its an all day event rather than an evening, you can't go to a nice pub or restaurant beforehand, indeed I know people that won't attend festivals as its not the same experience as being able to go a gig in a city.

Deep down I know its not going to happen. But also they're at a stage in their career where they haven't got too many more years left in front of them. So to me bringing Pete out at such a big show in their home town to play something like Wasted or Switch in honour of Steve would be perfect. I think it would get a great reaction. He was spotted with Leps was backstage at Sheffield in 2002, but sadly maybe neither party has any interest in it.

Recently TM was listing cheapest Sheffield show ticket at about 130 pounds, now 72 pounds. Dynamic pricing all the rage.
Think if i lived in Lancashire area (lived in Bolton for 2 years!) would be keen to see Lepps even if outside. Might be couple of years until a UK arena tour hits Manchester or Liverpool.
Band seem energized to release music, rest of the year seems busy touring, expected tour 2024 of North America. F
