My time is set too 0900 CST for me. Can not wait! Earlier this morning, the clock still calculated to 10AM CT for me. Now it calculates to 9AM CT. Everybody check the clock for release time where you are! |

Saw one of the shirts on Amazon says The Truth. Possible song Title? Interesting, as Phil's read is "the truth begins to shine". They already have a song called "Truth" (from SLANG), however. |

I must admit to loving the album art, arguably their best since Slang for me.
It’s a real pity that it’s leaked a day early. Everyone involved had done so well to get to a day away from the announcement, keeping everything to do with the album under wraps. To be fair that’s good going in this day and age.

I read several people who get Slang vibes from this album, like "a sibling" of that album.
I'm just a bit desperate to hear the new material, I don't care if it has Slang vibes, they sing to astrology. They've said they've been working on songs, I doubt it's going to be a T-Rex cover album or whatever band it is. What I really care about: new album after 7 years. The cover art, whatever, well then, one is needed, isn't it?, and I like the apparent new cover, I just want those new songs.

I had been thinking the same, it’s amazing these days that we haven’t already heard some crappy audio snippets online of new songs which by and large ruin the initial listening experience for me personally. Can’t say I’m a fan of drip fed albums, put a single out of course, but then hold onto the rest until release.l so it can be experienced properly. |

OOOH a song called the truth?  ? Ode to the Slang album. I hope this album has a Slang feel so bad, but after commercial suicide I don't think they'd do that again lol Rumoured Album Cover. No Source Available. Just found it on twitter.  Looks like this may be the actual cover. These are on Amazon and the manufacturer is listed as "Def Leppard" (i.e., not some knock-off company).   |

I was thinking that same thing. I mean, as you look back through their album covers, most are fairly simple. This one though is quite the design and sure looks like a lot of thought went into creating it. Might be their most intricate cover next to Hysteria. Makes me feel like they might be pretty proud of what they've created and they wanted to give it a proper presentation. Not trying to say they aren't proud of everything they've created though! But seeing the cover definitely has peaked my interest just a little bit more...if that's even possible lol. I must admit to loving the album art, arguably their best since Slang for me. People, the guys are not that young anymore, maybe there will be 15 years left for Def Leppard's career ahead, so let's welcome this new efford from the band, enjoy it in the best way and celebrate what is so far 45 years of music that we love so much. There’s a ton of imagery on this cover…perhaps some of it ties back to themes of the songs? Of course the cross hairs and HND references are great. I’ve seen a cover floating around that adds in the blue/gray font for the logo they’ve been using on their social media pages and I think it looks great with the cover. Not surprised of course if they use the classic logo however I’d be a fan of the diversification of it as they’ve done for other covers as well over the years. And, the band just told that they has a few song on the go for the last year or so, but not a clue about what they we're working on. Just great. |

I really like this new cover (if that indeed is the new cover), and even if I don't care for astrology, I like the whole concept around the album release. It feels "expensive" and well thought out, much more so than just a "regular" Lep release. Musically, I hope the music reflects the slightly mysterious, etheric concept seen in the album cover and tarot cards. Something alongside Desert Song and Fractured Song which shows a heavier and darker side of the band. I agree that this whole build-up - the album cover, the website, the big radio premieres - feels "big budget" compared to the last album. Is this what having a supportive record company feels like? |
