The band is definitely looking much more "distinguished" this tour. They have just bounced back from the time off seemingly on a mission of sorts to solidify their place in rock history or something. I think I remember one of them saying in an interview that they felt the band still had a lot of unfinished business and it sure seems like they have a renewed focus.

I think they are definitely focused on showing that they can still make quality music, can still deliver live, and aren't acting like they are still 20 or 30-somethings stuck in time.

Today Joe opened his Planet Rock radio show with this: "No throbbing of engines this week folks. Just the gentle hum of a generator as I sit in the same chair I did last week, but I'm parked up, engines off, in the car park at the stadium in Philadelphia. Now this time last week I was traveling at 75 miles an hour as we legged it out of Atlanta on our way to Miami. Now in Atlanta, if you've seen any of the pictures on social media, it absolutely lashed it down and we were just all drowned. When we got to Miami, it wasn't so bad. The following night in Orlando, it was exactly the same as Atlanta, and when we got to Washington DC, it rained so hard that we had to cut our set. There were representatives on the side of the stage from the police, from the building, and from the council saying please get off. Right above your head there is a lightning storm. And as we all know, human beings – wet human beings on a wet stage with electrical equipment and lightening – is a great recipe for disaster. So off we went. The storm did eventually pass, which allowed Motley Crue to play a bit of a truncated show. But there you go, folks. It is the 2022 drought relief tour. Three out of four, it has rained. It can only get better from here on in." I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Joe was actually sitting in the bus recording his show in Flushing New York yesterday (Friday) instead of Philadelphia today. That just makes more sense with him saying "three out of four, it has rained" and not mentioning the show Friday night in NY. Since he only records the between song talk for his show and then hands it off to Planet Rock to have the songs inserted, it's not realistic that he recorded the show only a few hours before it was broadcast today (Saturday) at 1PM ET. Also, he does typically record his show on Thursday or Friday. Last week he explicitly said he was recording on the road at 2:30 AM Friday morning driving between Atlanta and Miami.

I really like how the new album shirts have lyrics on the back (and that there is a variety). So far I've seen Joe wear "the truth begins to shine" and now in this video "I am reborn". I wonder how many different variations there are/what other lyrics are highlighted? Washington DC, Flushing, Philadelphia recap....

There’s a seller on eBay selling repro posters for the individual shows. $24 + $12. They are 24x36. Are the lithos that big? They don’t seem like it in the photos.

Read an article about Vince Neil using a teleprompter to help with lyrics on the tour.
I did see Steven Tyler using one about 20 years ago while touring with Kid Rock and RunDMC. Great show btw.

Saw this also and can't say it bothers me. I mean, sometimes I'm amazed these guys can remember lyrics to so many songs. And as somebody watching the show, I'd rather they get things right than mess lyrics up. Although, we know Vince doesn't sing half the lyrics anyways so not sure anybody would really notice if he messed something up Read an article about Vince Neil using a teleprompter to help with lyrics on the tour. When I saw Barbra Streisand in 2019, her teleprompter was gigantic. Hung from the ceiling in the center of the arena. Every word was in the prompter -- lyrics and between songs banter.

I have post it notes everywhere because I forget everything. I started a grocery list on my notes app because I would write my grocery list on paper and then leave it on the kitchen table when I went shopping for groceries. 🤦🏼♀️
