With travel restrictions being inconsistent, and everyone living in different places, how would they manage it...assuming they all agreed to or wanted to do it? Logistics would be difficult.

Just bought Whitesnake tickets for next May in the UK. Any idea when I’ll be buying tickets to see a UK DL tour ?

Just listening to Planet Rock and apparently Nikki Sixx has said in an interview that they originally offered the Poison support slot to David Lee Roth, who declined it.

"the American leg".... I think we've all assumed, and band members have hinted, that The Stadium Tour will be taken to other countries. Nikki's tweet seems to confirm that intent. Of course, this assumes the tour actually finally happens.

bound to do canada. euro fests need headliners in 2023. japan, oz? Canada has football and baseball stadiums all over the country. They could in theory do just as many shows in canada as they are doing in the US. The problem is the promoters ability to put a tour together. With the US $ so overinflated that the Canadian ticket prices would be 25% higher. Also Poison isn't a big draw across the country or Joan Jett. So i'm guessing Leps and crue would get a 25k plus crowd on average per show. Just having the 2 Headliners and a local opener might make it work in the smaller markets.

MÖTLEY CRÜE's NIKKI SIXX: 'We Made The Right Decision' Postponing 'The Stadium Tour' To 2022 October 8, 2021Nikki Sixx spoke to Yahoo! Entertainment about MÖTLEY CRÜE's "The Stadium Tour" with DEF LEPPARD which was originally scheduled to take place last summer but ended up being pushed back to 2021, and then to 2022, due to the coronavirus crisis. "We thought we were gonna tour this year," the CRÜE bassist said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). "Then the delta variant came. And some of my friends went out and did it, and some have had no problems, some have had big problems. "On a business level, you can't get COVID insurance. So if you've got a big show — MÖTLEY, DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT — that's generating a lot of… If that show goes down because somebody whatever, you just lose money, and you can only lose so many shows and then you're basically on tour for free. So we chose to stay back, waiting to see how AEGs and Live Nations and how other bands were gonna handle it. And I think we made the right decision. "We restart designing the show in April," Nikki continued. "It's basically designed, but there's some new technology that happened in the last few years we might wanna involve. And then we've already got our set — it's done — so it's not like we have to have that meeting where it's, like, 'I wanna play this song' or 'I wanna play this song.' Everybody agreed on these songs, and it's a really cool set, and there's some medleys in it. "We start band rehearsals in May," Sixx added. "I don't know what that looks like. We like to rehearse for three or four weeks. Even if we have four weeks and we're pretty tight at three weeks, sometimes you lose a day here and there — a guy gets sick or someone's car breaks down — so we always [give ourselves] four weeks. And then we go to Atlanta where the tour opens and we do pre-production with everybody on the bill and we set the show up and tear the show down so it all fits. And then June 19th, I think, the tour starts. And I can't wait." Source

After seeing this tweet, I went on Ticketmaster and counted how many shows are listed as MC closing vs DL closing. Ticketmaster says MC closing 11 shows and DL closing 20 shows. Has it always been that lopsided? I don't think I ever explicitly counted but always assumed it was 15 closings for one and 16 closing for the other. If you're attending one or more of the stadium shows, has the closing band for any of your shows been swapped?

St. Louis was Lep closing when it was first announced, then it changed to MC, and now it appears to be back to Lep. Hmm.

I think I'm actually convinced this time that the tour will happen this summer. That is, unless something crazy happens with new variants or something. But large scale events seem to be going on in sports and things. And these concerts will mainly be outdoors to boot. Have to think we finally get to see this tour. Can't wait. I think this might be the longest I've went in the last 20 years or so without seeing Leppard live.

I'm excited for the crew. It couldn't have been easy. Hell it wasn't easy for anyone. But as suspected things are moving fast BTS. 2 things about to drop in the coming months.

Does Vince Really need a solo date in between 2 Stadium Tour dates? This happened last year didn’t it and was the precursor to the tour being postponed.

How do we know that it might not just be a precursor to Crue getting replaced on the Stadium tour and not the whole tour itself? Vince doesn't seem to still be in any kind of shape to play a stadium tour worth of shows. Probably too early to speculate about anything. Frankly though, I'd really be surprised and disappointed if this tour is postponed again. I mean, large scale sporting events have been going on all year in the USA and for the most part, it seems generally society is just moving forward with as many precautions in place as possible. If the NFL season can go on filling stadiums, surely the tour can go on also. I'm taking it as a good sign things seem to be moving in the Leppard camp and keeping my fingers crossed. There were rumblings in a FB thread about the same thing. This happened last year didn’t it and was the precursor to the tour being postponed.

Does Vince Really need a solo date in between 2 Stadium Tour dates? It's his agent, if Vince isn't making money neither is his agent. So i suspect his agent is pushing for shoes in the gaps. Plus his solo band might be booked for the year and not by the show. Finaly he might be contactually locked into those shows.

Looks like poison are squeezing a show into the stadium tour schedule too. This one’s in Tulsa I think. Billed as a world tour though? Is this even genuine?
