Of all the gigs I've been to over the years never have I been to one as intense and energetic as The Prodigy were when I saw them on their Greatest Hits tour in 2006.

Just announced that Keith Flint of The Prodigy has been found dead at home, aged 49. I think it was CindyJ who brought up how many people have died in 2019 so far and it seemed like a lot.

Just announced that Keith Flint of The Prodigy has been found dead at home, aged 49. Very sad. I went through a bit of a Prodigy phase when Fat Of The Land was released in 1996. Nothing has ever terrified me like stumbling across the Firestarter video for the first time in the very early hours one morning after a night out. He was very, very different. RIP

In the late 90s, I listened to The Chemical Brothers and Prodigy and bands like that. I remember going out to buy 'Fat of the Land' which is a great album. RIP.

Just heartbroken to hear this.
Took me too long to finally see them live and even twice on their farewell tour.
RIP Neil.

So sad to hear about Neil. I only saw Rush one time and that was during their last tour, it was one of the best concerts I had ever been to. He was an amazing musician and lyricist. He will be greatly missed.

Sad to hear about Neils passing. I finally "got" Rush during the holidays when i listened to "Snakes & Arrows Live" album several times.
Saw them once, but had no relationship to them so it was not great for me. His passing has started a thouhtprocess that i just need to see my fav bands as often and as soon as possible!

I saw Rush twice. Sheffield in 2007 and Dublin 2011. Fantastic band and so sad at Neils passing. Really enjoy watching the DVDs I have of the Live shows they have done. Hopefully pick up a few live album vinyls when I have the spare cash . RIP Neil

I’m not a die hard Van Halen fan but I like a lot of their songs and they’ve been part of my life for as long as I can remember. So you feel these losses on a personal level. There’s no doubt he is one of the best rock guitarists ever and not only that, an innovator too that lead the way for many other guitarists that followed.

and as quick as that a family is heartbroken. A Fan base is in Shock. Current and Former members of the band are saddened by the end of a great band.
I think we learned this year, now more than ever... not to take people or things for granted.

I've been a fan of VH since high school and was shocked about the news of Ed. Eddie Trunk did an awesome tribute show today and had different musicians call in to speak about how much of a influence he was to them. Sebastian Bach, Tom Keifer, Tom Morello, Mike McCready and a couple more called in. Dave, Sammy and Michael Anthony have posted messages on social media. He will be greatly missed. Also, I saw them in 2012 and they were fantastic!

Four days ago ZZT made an announcement that Dusty was going home to deal with a hip issue and would be replaced for the upcoming tour dates. Seemed weird to me that he would just now be dealing with a hip issue after months of being off the road due to the pandemic. Perhaps it was a "cover story" to hide something much more serious. http://instagram.com/p/CR4ZTatq0L1
