I guess the most obvious answer that many fans have been hoping for would be Bon Jovi. Their last run was in arenas where Jon's vocals were heavily criticised. It appears that Sambora may be returning. Personally, BJ were great back in the day, but they seem to have completely 'de-rocked' their arrangements - the vibe is very middle of the road, and very far from 'hard rock'. BJ may do their own stadium tour anyway with the whole 'reunion' PR spin. I really dislike Bon Jovi but I think this would be a MASSIVE tour. Bigger than the one they are on now with Crue. Unfortunately, for us fans, tickets would be super pricey and really hard to get. Bon Jovi fans are rabid from what I understand. No doubt it would be a huge tour. But i still question whether opening for Jovi is the right career move. But there are only so many options left.

A British rock tour with Iron Maiden, Saxon plus one other British band, maybe The Darkness. You know it makes sense

Iron Maiden would headline over Leppard in UK. Maiden close UK shows, not sure last time that didn't happen. Especially at this point in Maiden's career where they do superb numbers. Think Andy tongue in cheek there.
In 2014 Kiss Leppard co headlined US tour but Kiss closed every show. If Leppard toured with Bon Jovi especially if Sambora is back cannot see even this type of arrangement happening where Leppard always go on before. Bon Jovi doing Slippery and New Jersey with Sambora would need little help.
Kind of stuck with Journey, Nickleback or someone elsewhere Leppard can rotate closing.
Not convinced Bryan Adams or Ghost would move enough tickets.
I could see Leppard may be doing special guest for ACDC in some territories.

Think Andy tongue in cheek there. Who knows... Bruce Dickinson recently said that Maiden have something in the pipeline that people would like. We've had so many pairings of various bands over the years and yet here are the 2 biggest British rock bands that came out of the early 80's and yet they've never done a tour together. Makes sense to me. Stadium filler! It doesn't have to be a months long worldwide trek either.

A Maiden Leppard co headlining tour would suit me as they are by far my favourite live bands. Just don't see it happening, though very happy to be wrong! Some suggestions that Maiden and Priest may tour next year, maybe Australasia or South America, though imagine Maiden would close.
