So I was hesitant on getting a ticket to this show but the prices have surprisingly dropped a bit whwre I can get a decent seat for under $200.
That said I’m expecting this to be a absolute cluster of a show parking wise. This stadium holds football games but a lot of the people already live there as it has on campus housing. A actually concert hasn’t been held since the early 90s. Also tbh one can prolly enjoy the show from the sidewalk as you have residential neighborhoods and businesses right across the street.

Two weeks away and I hate to say it but this show just isn’t hitting right now sales wise. Lots of open seats available…not to mention it being a weds plus this horrible heat wave we have ( 100 plus degree weather altho a cool front is coming) doesn’t help much. I hope the next two weeks we see a surge in sales.

Capacity 30000 lot of those empty seats are verified resale $26 which maybe Live Nation selling them less than the standard lowest price of $33. Looks like nearly 60% of tickets are sold.
As Leppard close the show and tickets are cheap turn up after Crue close their set. Today top temperature 106f, concert day a chilly 93f!

I had been watching the Syracuse show on 8/5 and it was the same thing. There will all kinds of tickets available in the first 20 rows or so for inflated VIP or platinum prices. But ticket prices got slashed last week and now it looks like many more seats got sold. So I'd expect the Tulsa prices to probably get cut soon. It's beyond frustrating how ticketmaster is doing things but I think the best time to buy tickets these days is in the week leading up to the show. I debated it as there were great seats available for reasonable prices but my desire to not sit through Alice Cooper and Motely Crue again just outweighed my desire to see Leppard. However, I did just see the Stadium tour last summer in Buffalo and it was fantastic so I'm perfectly good with that and I expect it'll basically be the same show. If I hadn't seen just seen them I'd definitely be going. Two weeks away and I hate to say it but this show just isn’t hitting right now sales wise. Fantastic, stuck with 3 tickets and can't resell for under $175 as tickets sales so bad they don't want resale. Tickets in Def letp fan pre-sale are selling for almost $100 less than we paid.
I knew I should have waited and now losing hundreds

Agree. It just all comes down to the games ticketmaster/live nation play with ticket sales. Basically, the best time to buy tickets these days seems to be in the week leading up to the show. What kills me though is sometimes they still don't lower the ticket prices low enough. I mean, I was watching a Foreigner show that was close to me last week. Tickets in the first 15 rows started at about $350 and higher for all those seats and I wasn't paying that. And within a couple weeks of the show I'd say 75% of those seats were all still available. Then they lowered them to about $125 a ticket in the week leading up to the show. They sold more but even on the day of the show it still seemed like a good chunk of seats were showing as available. I was waiting to see if they'd get to like $50 a ticket and then might've went. But they never went lower. And even as the show was going on many seats were still available. I mean, why not just slash everything the day of the show? Isn't it better to get somebody in a seat for a reduced price so they can spend money on concessions than have nobody in that seat? Doesn't make much sense to me but I feel like somebody is doing these bands a disservice. Anyways, as for reselling, I'd just use Stub Hub....They let you sell tickets for whatever you want. Not the bands fault! But all gig tickets have gone up big time even bands playing academy size venues in the UK are charging £40-£50 a ticket! Just look at the Wembley show Leppard did in the UK the floor was not half full but seats at the back of a 80000 venue looked full! Something Really needs to change.

It’s unfortunately the sign of the times we live in and brings me back to what I said in another thread about I hope Lep play this next year smart when it comes to touring. People are very choosy about shows rn and if it comes down to a band I have seen ( Lep Journey) or someone I haven’t and budgets restraints of only being able to go to one, I’m going towards the new experience

It's a few things.
1. Def lep has toured non stop for years, so sooner or later theey can't fill stadiums year after year. So yes can get 30k, but stadiums are 40k, so lots of tickets will be avaliable as show approaches.
2. Ticket prices high, but fees were over $40 per ticket. I knew i should have said forget it then and waited to see if went lower. This is show 38 or 39 so who cares if i miss it. Although I do want to see the end of hysteria
3. They wont lower too much day of as people will then wait to buy and that screws everything up.
So, vs selling cheap will take friends who have not seen lep live and let them drive and pay for parking. Ha. This way I know the seats will be used for an enjoyable experience and I know who will be by me. Sick of drunk people, people go8ng to bathroom, people singing loudly, people on phone whole show etc

What a night. Just got in and officially going thru the post concert withdrawals. I can honestly say this was the best I have ever seen the band play and they were as tight as ever. More on that in a min. I was pretty vocal in this thread about being worried the show wouldn’t sell well, but I can happily say it looked just about close to a full house , a lot better than what it was looking. Another thing is it’s nice to see a good amount of younger fans showing up as well. Keeps the bands legacy’s alive. Alice Cooper was great. I wasn’t super familiar with his stuff minus the hits but he was just fun and had his whole gimmicks in tact. Shout out to his band as well, they are phenomenal and I was esp in awe of Nita. She’s a incredible player. Brings me to Motley….there’s been many debates about if they even play live and backing tracks etc….tbh in the actual concert setting they are just a fun band and the crowd did respond well to them. Vince didn’t sound horrid but no where near a ten star performance. The star of the group is John 5 for me. Having seen him before in Rob Zombie, I feel he gets to shine a bit more in Motley when it comes to showing off. The other stars of the band are the two dancers. I almost felt they were on the big screen just as much as the band. It’s clear there’s backing tracks, funny enough the most blatant one to me was on their newest song The Dirt. Vince wasn’t even trying to hit those notes. All in all tho they were fun and mix a little bit of alcohol in most people almost probably could care less about the issues. And last we have Leppard. I can’t stress how amazing this band is live. The professionalism they show on stage just blows Crue out of the whole ocean. Its a hit set but we knew that going in. However the one song that shocked me of how good live it sounds is This Guitar. The harmonies the band does is just goosebumps to me and it really brings that Eagles vibe to the song more than how it sounds on DSH. Kick also sounds killer live and it fits the stadium anthem they were looking for. One of my favorite moments of the night was during and after Ricks drum solo.Seeing peoples reactions to it just put a huge smile on my face and he got one of the loudest cheers of the night. All in all this was a great night and great show. All 3 acts are very different in the way they present there shows which makes for a variety but Leppard just stick out as far as just sounding damn near perfect. One last thing…. Heroes needs to be released…it sounded so good over the PA.
