Guys, is it a fact that its all seated on the floor.. no standing at all? I looked at tickets this morning but held off as couldn't see any standing tickets. I hate sitting down at these shows but wanted to be sure there were no standing tickets available when this goes on general sale All seated on the floor at Wembley.

All seated? Didn't expect that. Definitely worth travelling to Sheffield probably to get something if available IMO.

I am 20 rows from thrust. Will be standing for gig. If sitting in stadium seating choose a back row, can stand then. Wembley only seated show I am doing of the 4 bought tickets for, other 3 standing.

You can get up to the stage and the ramp and for 160 quid ticket, makes Wembley a joke. Who the hell wants to go to a show like this and be seated if you're capable of standing. That's an atmosphere killer. In a way I'm glad its forced my decision because seeing Leppard at Bramall Lane is very poignant and probably the second real home coming since Don Valley which I also went to.

Great spot! I was at both Boston shows in the Summer. Although the field was 'seated', just about everyone stood for the set, so it is only a 'place.' I'll certainly be standing!!

I noticed today that Ticketmaster have reduced some of the pitch seat prices at Wembley (though the VIP package prices are unchanged). Last week Ticketmaster were quoting up to £340 for the remaining seats in the A and B blocks, most are now priced around the £230 - £260 range. I still think it's overpriced, especially as no support acts are yet confirmed, but it's a welcome move with 5 months still to go.

Does any one know what happens to the meet n greet seats if these packages don’t get sold??

Ticketmaster continues to confound me. It's looking like I won't be able to attend the Wembley show after all and would like to try to sell my tickets. However, Ticketmaster is still showing them as unavailable for transfer or resale. Does anyone know when they might release my tickets to me? Are they likely waiting until more original seats are sold since there are still a lot available for this show? Very frustrating!

I've seen this happening more and more frequently on Ticketmaster where they won't allow you to resell tickets. My own opinion on that is they're probably limiting that function so they can mark up and sell their own platinum tickets and not get resellers undercutting them on their own site. I've been just going to stub hub if I have tickets to sell and many times can find better deals buying on Stub hub also. The transfer thing is concerning though as you should still be able to do that and obviously would need that in order to sell on something like stub hub. I did have that happen to me recently and I contacted support. It took a few days of back and forth but finally got the issue fixed and was able to transfer tickets. Either way, nothing really surprises me when it comes to ticketmaster anymore so I guess it's possible they could've just turned off resale and transfer for a specific show too since they just seem to be able to do whatever they want and get away with it. I'd still check with support though. Ticketmaster continues to confound me. It's looking like I won't be able to attend the Wembley show after all and would like to try to sell my tickets. Darkness announced as support for GnR in Hyde Park on the 30th June…. What are the chances of them coming to Wembley the day after to support Lep?

Tickets now discounted in cheap seats to 47 pounds from 66. Middle stand tickets less than 65 pounds, discounted as well.
Emails sent apparently to ticketmaster UK members with tickets available for the booking fee, only 2.75 pounds!
The field is sold out where the money is, but only half being used. Still some areas of seating with few tickets sold. Guess ticket sales 40000+.

I’ve been there for a football match when just the lower and middle tier has sold out and that was around 35000 people, the upper tier is huge and unsold blocks in that will make it look really empty. Shame that they didn’t act earlier to bring prices down.

It was a very bold move to play Wembley but they're never going to sell it out.

Madness to me to choose Wembley, 90,000 capacity for football matches (obviously less for a concert), there’s Arsenal Spurs and West Ham/Olympic stadium all around 60,000 which even then would be pushing it….Chelsea holds c.40,000, or elsewhere in the south of England both Brighton and Southampton are 32,000. Wembley just seems such an overstretch as to be absurd.
I was there for a football match last month, it’s a big place and with 34,000 in the stands as then it’s pretty damn empty. Makes it even more odd to only have 3 bands on the bill if you’re trying to give yourself the best chance at selling as many tickets as possible.

Here we are less than 1 week out from the show and Ticketmaster STILL hasn't released tickets for resale or transfer. This is my first experience with Ticketmaster UK, so I don't know if this is how it always is with tickets in the UK or if this is due to the low ticket sales. When I contacted them, Ticketmaster could give me no assurances that they would ever become transferrable. I just want to be able to get rid of my tickets (for money or for free) since I won't be in the country. OK - rant over.

Yep it looks terrible when there are so many empty seats, its even worse at a concert which is supposed to be a prestigious event to headline here. The bands is also a key thing. Certain artists could sell this place on their own, but seeing as this show is a Saturday I think it should have meant an earlier start and 4 bands on the stage. A mini festival if you like with 2 more well known support acts. Theyve misjudged this one.

I am going to this show so hoping for a full house!
I saw The Cult last night, fantastic show, would have been good addition to this bill.
Ticket sales seem to have picked up but there is a weird look about the seating map, alternate rows sold out, none or few tickets sold on the other row. My tickets just appeared on my ticketmaster page, maybe some areas will be blacked out, move people. Resale not available, but available in Lytham and Dublin which may suggest better sales in those markets but lot smaller at 20000 and 35000 capacity respectively.
It is a big jump from arena to stadium level, especially Wembley which is more than double Bramall Lane's size. Crue have never meant that much in the UK, it is to Crues benefit to co headline in Europe, Leppard far more deserving to headline. Massive competition from Download, Kiss, GnR, Maiden, hard to sell tickets especially with cost of living issues in UK.
As this is a Saturday show if weather is good then seat sales should benefit. Hope for close to 50000.

Should have put cheaper tickets on sale earlier and like other comments billed it as a mini festival with two established support acts. I’m still going though!

I think the promoters are paying the price for their greedy over the top ticket prices at this show, its put people off.
I tried to pick up some cheap tickets for this show but the problem is finding somewhere to stay. All the hotels are fully booked. There has definitely been a last minute push for hotels around the area so it may be a bit more full on the day than what it was looking like before
