Is it weird that the South American tour contains 3 Brazilian dates but no Rio show? And nothing at all in Argentina?

Wasn’t there supposed to be an announcement on November 1?

Brazil huge country, but yes surprise about both of those omissions. Still time to add shows.
No France, Netherlands or Austria yet in in Europe. Enough gaps to add 3 shows. Surprised with Austria as DSH went top 10 and Paris is obviously capital of France. Accor Arena, formerly the Bercy, holds up to 20000. Stadehalle Vienna 16000. One of the gaps is between Thun and Wembley which would mean an extra show for me. Fingers xx.

But they are very welcome!!

Listen carefully to what Joe says in this video. I missed it, but churchy pointed out that Joe says DL will be in the UK in "May, June and July of 2023....". There have been no June UK dates announced. Download Festival announcement is happening tomorrow. Maybe? Wouldn't be easy as they already have shows elsewhere on June 7, 9 and 11. Could fly in for Download on June 8th or 10th.

I hope that Motley Crue realizes how upstaged they are by Def Leppard. The summer 2022 tour Def Leppard should have been closing every show.

It would be logistically and physically difficult to squeeze in a show at Download, but not impossible. Guess it depends on how badly they want to be included in the 20th Anniversary festival -- if they were even invited to do so. Certainly possible that there could be some UK "hold dates" in June. There are 3 spots in June where the gap between shows is 3 days. Could drop another show into any of those spots. The one that makes the most sense for adding another UK show is the June 28, 29, 30 gap just before the Wembley date. Could add a second Wembley show on June 29th. Not likely to add it on the 30th since they already have shows July 1st and 2nd.

Been sent a picture of the Download Festival by a very good friend who does band merchandise for some massive bands and Leppard are not on it. Metallica doing 2 shows Thursday and Saturday, Bring Me The Horizon and Slipknot the other headliners. Could be wrong but normally correct in what he tells me and to be honest with Leppard doing their own shows i would be amazed if they was at Download as well.

DL is THE reason I go, but I'm looking forward to Crue also. They were my first live concert back in the day (1989).

Yeah, but the Crue fans are lying to themselves. Seriously, Poison blew away Motley at the show I attended. I would have been happier with a Def Lep/Poison/Jett bill with the others getting a few more songs added to their sets.

I read that doors open at 4pm for Sheffield so there will be a couple of bands on before I think, this is arguably the biggest rock tour of the UK next year, you'd imagine there would be a queue of bands wanting to get on this. Didnt really think about that. But it will actually be the biggest tour in the UK and probably for Europe aswell. They could add a rhird proper band aswell. Could be anyone from Whitesnake, Scorpions, Judas Priest and a fourth smaller band aswell. I caved and booked a hotel for Wembley aswell now. Probably go to see Sheffield alone and bring my wife to London. These shows are just too big to miss imo. Not sure about Whitesnake. Gone very quiet since the sudden cancellation of the EU farewell tour. Hopefully DC is in good health but the WS camp is very quiet at present. Think Priest are still tied into the Ozzy farewell tour (which will probably never happen) and we all know what Mrs O can be like when it comes to business. Scorps would be a really good addition with a few British up and coming rock bands given 40 minutes each.

I hope they add a third band, even thou i see that a third band not beeing added says alot about ticket sales. The crappy part is that a third act just means more music totally since neither MC or DL probably wont play more than 1,5hr each.
WOuld have loved to see a 90s style setlist with long guitar soloes in Love Bites, Hysteria and Rocket. But i know thats not happening _)

It does feel like they need one more solid band for the bill. I don't see the Scorpions playing third on a bill in Europe. I'm still shocked Poison is letting all their momentum from the U.S. tour come to a screeching halt.

Hampden will need third band someone like Europe or The Darkness as sales look slow. Wembley ok if believe seating map but given size of venue extra band likely added. Lytham, Milan, German, Swiss shows are 20000 capacities, 4 of the 6 where seating maps are available are doing quite well. Budapest and Krakow are arena shows doing ok. Festivals have lots of bands. Not sure of sales Portugal or Madrid. Sheffield looks good, sell out before show. Marley Park no sales info available but likely to be like Hampden, need third band, DSH chart position very weak Ireland.

There will be other bands added. Don’t panic . Yes! andylgr is spot on. Have you guys not looked at the start time and other information for these shows? Some are as early as 1545. Others at 1600 or 1630. Just like the North American leg. Those shows will have DL, MC + 2 bands just like NA. Note that some shows do not start really early. Spain for example. Guest artist starts at 1930. So.... only one band in addition to DL and MC. Check the start time for your shows and read the show information provided by your ticket outlet! That will tell you how many artists are playing. None of this is applicable to festival shows, obviously.

Hellfest in France have their shows scheduled for June 15-18 seen poster with Lepps and Cruel listed, they play elsewhere 14th and 18th so that fits. Fits Iron Maiden schedule who are listed as well. Has ACDC headlining as well!

Same Wabo as on Metallica Forum! Interesting if do mix amphitheaters and stadiums or just smaller venues. One leg or two?

That date in Ticketmaster is more than likely a mistake. It has happened before, there have been listings for example for Van Halen, so go figure.. Bret Michaels is announcing his Parti Gras festival November 28, but with his solo band.

Bret Michaels is announcing his Parti Gras festival November 28, but with his solo band. I've certainly seen mistakes on TM before, but I've also seen this sort of one-off Def Leppard listing sneak through just ahead of a tour announcement. Somebody forgets to mark it as "hidden" before putting it in the TM system. If DL and MC are doing US shows in 2023, that doesn't mean Poison and/or Joan Jett will also be on the bill. If it's bogus, the ticket resellers are going to be doing a lot of refunds. They are already selling "speculation" (i.e., tickets they assume they'll procure from TM) tickets for this show.
