I was unsure if it was with Motley Crue. I SO dont wanna see MC again.
But will probably be a fun day out anyways.
Guns are rumoured to play the next weekend, but not confirmed yet. So coumd be two insane weekends for me since its like a 5-10min walk from my place.

This Clown is confused. Motley is full of tracks but they sound terrible. Def Leppard of course can play and sing all day long. Add Ronan their FOH Engineer and studio producer to the Live setting and you get an amazing Live Mix. The Average Joe doesn't understand the technology and of course depend on the media to get their info. I agree andylgr "When you're so good, you get accused of using tracks" When you're so good, you get accused of using tracks....

Some people just don’t understand what they’re hearing. Motley Crue make no secret of using backing tracks taken from their albums, it’s blatantly obvious. This Clown is confused. Anybody thinking Leppard use tracks needs their head examined! It always sounds 100% live to me. The only thing I would say and I cannot believe I am saying this is I wish they would drop a new song My Guitar and play something more upbeat like Excitable Wasted ect particularly in the UK and Europe.

So now someone in the Norwegian media has said DL used tracks.
Translation from the article:
Then it was finally time for the first of two headliners. With the countdown on the screens, we quickly realized that we were going to increase production a notch or ten. Def Leppardstarted the show with "Take What You Want" from last year's "Diamond Star Halos", and the audience response was finally festival-level. And the above production; yes, it was much higher, and it was undoubtedly a well-oiled machine we were witnessing. A bit too much, one might think, because here there were tracks from end to end, especially the chorus had the impression of being on several layers, and without treading in the mud as a writer, I think the best Joe Elliot probably had a little help, but that he sang himself, there was no doubt. He used the time well during the pandemic to work on his vocal skills. He sings better than in a long time, quite simply. The band are seasoned ring foxes, and are good at taking the audience with them, and already on the second song, "Let's Get Rocked", it's rocking well in the Trønder capital. Trånnhjæm has woken up! The screens are in frequent use, and we get to see Def Leppard anno 1980-something throughout the set, a nice effect, and quite effective considering that there are several 80s bands on the stages this evening. Drummer Rick Allen gets the prize for the sweetest face of the night, because every time his face came on the screens, there was nothing but a wide grin to be seen. He also got a drum solo, and when you play a drum solo with one hand, yes, there is applause! Well deserved too; it wasn't long, but it was cool. It goes without saying that we get hits in a row when Def Leppard is on stage, and among the audience there is dancing, singing and laughter. It is simply lovely to look around this Sunday, which has now become evening. The response to songs like "Hysteria" and "Pour Some Sugar On Me" is enormous, and when the final song, "Photograph" is released, it echoes across the area, It's a busy life we live. And it's not over yet. 4.5/6
BTW.... if you read the article you'll find that MC got the same 4.5/6 rating that DL received. There is also this bit in the review text.... Accusations have been hurled that the band is not playing live at the moment. I put that claim to rest here and now, here there wasn't much that wasn't played, but yes, there were tracks here too.
So.... DL was end to end tracks and MC was mostly live. Sure.

It beggars belief that a professional reviewer would float that out there with no facts, it’s not like a Kiss or Crue show that you can tell for certain. The last line is a killer, saying that Leppard use tracks and Crue don’t. WTF. So now someone in the Norwegian media has said DL used tracks.
