Starting to get a bit pumped for this one!
Taking my 14 year old son along this time for his first Def Leppard show! And he's not being forced to go! I kind of jokingly asked him if he'd like to go expecting that he'd say no but he surprised me when he said he'd like to come along.

“I know maybe two Def Leppard songs, but the intelligible lyrics and lack of objectifying women has them tops on this bill.“
Best quote of the night!!

Quick thoughts on this show last night - Joan Jett was okay. I missed the first couple songs in her set while waiting in the merch line. Speaking of the merch, I intended to get one of the show posters but passed after really not caring for the design for the Buffalo show so that was disappointing. Anyways, back to Joan....She sounded great but at the same time I found her pretty boring as she hardly moved and never came down the thrust at all. Not sure if she isn't allowed on the thrust or chose not to use it. She sounded fine though and the crowd got into her big hits. Poison was my 2nd favorite acts of the night even if it felt like they only played 4 songs lol. They're just a fun band and Brett really does a fantastic job working the crowd. I mean, he really does come off as one of the nicest, most appreciative guys on stage. It's just a shame that Poison doesn't put the same kind of effort into their band as say Def Leppard does with new music and trying to build the bands brand. They're just happy being a 50 minute opening act and that's too bad as they could be better than that with some effort. Motely Crue was next and they were probably better than I expected them to be. I mean, their stage show was entertaining but they definitely need the girls and theatrics to try and overshadow Vince. Speaking of Vince, he also was probably better than I thought he'd be but that isn't saying much. He was still pretty bad singing like half the lyrics and he absolutely cannot hit any higher notes. He also just doesn't have much charisma on stage. Their best moments are when Nikki or Tommy come center stage and interact with the crowd. Overall, they were an entertaining visual but not great on the ears lol. Def Leppard up next and I know I don't need to say too much about them here as we know they're the class of this bill. They don't need dancing girls, pyro and blow up dolls on their stage as for them it's all about the music. I thought Joe really sounded fantastic and the whole band was just impeccable. I'm also usually the first one complaining about the setlist but I have to say I enjoyed this set and it was probably my most enjoyable set since the 2012 Rock of Ages tour. I enjoyed seeing Promises as I think I had only seen that song live once previously and really enjoyed TWYW and Kick. I have to say that even though I'm not fond of This Guitar, that one also sounded pretty good and I liked it more in the live setting than on the album as it didn't sound quite as Country to me live. Overall, they just nailed it like they always do I also have to add that I attended with my 14 year old son and it was his first Def Leppard concert. He's not a die=hard fan or anything but obviously knows plenty of their songs since they've been played so often around him. He was pretty into the show though and was singing along to almost all the songs. As we walked out after the show he couldn't stop raving about how good of a show Def Leppard put on and how good they sounded. It was just a very cool moment and never would've thought that when I saw Def Leppard for the first time back in 1987 that 35 years later I'd be taking my son to see them for his first time in a stadium setting. It kinda felt like my Def Leppard circle has bene completed or something

Here's some video of this complete show if anyone would like to check it out. It's unlisted at the moment so just a forum treat Sorry the video isn't the best. I probably should've zoomed in more but I get caught up watching the screens and trying to take in the big picture a lot of the time. And my arm was getting tired lol. I needed to be a row closer to have a railing to lean it on and no waving arms in front of me. Can get the gist of the show though
