Well...I think I prefer the Dead Daisies over Kobra....seems to at least be in more similar genre and makes some sense I guess. Still wish there was no band supporting....But I get the feeling the powers that be wanted somebody to open the show so that Leppard wasn't thought of as the opener and to make it appear more like a true co-headline. Even though we all know Leppard is the true headliner

Personally, I'm happy that Leppard isn't going on as the very first band.

The Line-up of the Dead Daisies is quite interesting. Some real familiar names.
RICHARD FORTUS Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Fortus is a current guitarist of legendary American rock band Guns N’ Roses, handling both rhythm and lead duties since 2001
MARCO MENDOZA Marco comes from a very musical family and started playing the guitar at an early age. Marco is perhaps mostly known for his work with a number of rock bands and artists such as Thin Lizzy, Blue Murder, Whitesnake , Ted Nugent, Neal Schon and Soul SirkUS, Lynch Mob, as well as diverse artists such as Dolores O’Riordan from the Cranberries. He is currently touring with his solo project and Black Star Riders.
DIZZY REED Dizzy Reed is a multi-talented keyboard/vocalist who is currently touring with Guns ‘N’ Roses and has been with Axl since almost the beginning. He is well respected in the Los Angeles music community as a guest player with many well known artists and with his own solo projects. Dizzy brings the blues rock energy to the stage!
BRIAN TICHY Brian is an American musician, best known as having been drummer for Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner, and Ozzy Osbourne. He was the drummer of Whitesnake from 2010 to 2013.
and Vocalist JON STEVENS, Guitarist DAVID LOWY
These guys seem more suited for this type of tour imo.

Just in case anyone cares, I prefer The Dead Daisies over Kobra and the Lotus, which works out for me because I'll be seeing them in WI and IL so they will be the opener.

Wish The Dead Daisies were opening more than at the end of the tour. I prefer their music style over Kobras, they sound like a better fit.
