IMO, it has to be tedious to sing the same old songs for years. The fact that he has been loyal and they all have stayed together for so long proves his and theirs' commitment to DF.
If they do side projects, more power to them. It really does benefit the group as a whole. It keeps their creative juices flowing and I bet makes them happy.

Down 'N' Outz Album Update
"Just yesterday two of the guys from the Down 'N' Outz were over in my studio doing some last minute additions to Down 'N' Outz II. Paul Guerin the lead guitarist and rhythm guitarist Guy Griffin and that's his band that he put together after the first split of The Quireboys a few years ago. He put a band together called Glimmer and from an album Silver Zone you just heard the track Velveteen."

What was the point of the first one being called My ReGeneration Volume 1 if the second album isn't going to be called Volume 2? Oh well. Looking forward to it.

Awesome. I loved the first album, always felt Joe really let his voice shine on it. Hope vol 2 is more of the same. I'm guessing maybe a 1st single in the next week or so..

Wondering if the new DNO album will be announced soon. Yesterday the DNO FB page posted twice within 8 hours after being silent since Jan 5th (1 post) and prior to that 1 post on Dec 18th and 1 post on Oct 11th. That said.... it seems like the new album wouldn't be released until Joe and the other band members are available to tour with it, which for Joe won't happen until after the Vegas residency is complete.

Really digging the new tunes . Enjoyed some of the previous Mott tunes but not a big fan. Had a ticket for the Belfast show few years ago but couldn't go in the end due to work commitments but hopefully if they tour next year will go
