What a great video! I'm glad they have kept the new ending to Hysteria! Goosebumps! Ah have they? Was wondering about that and hoping they’d revert back to the usual one, can’t abide the new way they finish it 🫣

First thought... glad to see an 18 song set. I'm always a bit worried the sets will start getting shorter at some point, especially with these multi-act shows.
They weren't kidding about being Pyro heavy, seven cuts.... would I prefer Billy and Stagefright over DHTH or TLFL? Yes, but I can't complain when they have brought back Rock! Rock! and we're getting Comin' Under Fire.
The big six from Hysteria remain. I was wondering if Armageddon It or Rocket might get put on the shelf, but didn't happen. Personally, I'd drop Love Bites, but it was their biggest chart hit in the U.S., so doubt it will ever happen.
Just Like '73 was a no-brainer, since it is their "song for the summer." Hopefully the live crowds give it a chance and don't see it as a beverage break.
As for the acoustic section, my feelings are the same from the Stadium Tour in 2022.... Several hours into a long, outdoor stadium show in the summer heat, an acoustic set is going to be an energy killer. Yes, it is a "breather" but there's just no way it will get a big reaction in this kind of environment. Two Steps Behind was a huge hit, but This Guitar never seems to get much traction. Personally, I'd rework Love Bites and put that in here, or maybe a new version of the Acoustic Medley from a while back.
We're back to BOTH being the only pre-Pyro tune, and obviously Switch will be there to give Joe a break, which I totally get.
I assume Orlando won't see any changes from this, and I'm good with the setlist. At this point, I'm just grateful to get another chance to see the band live. Would I love to cram Wasted or Promises or go really deep and put Four Letter Word in there? Sure. However, you have to be realistic and know they are playing a set for 30,000 fans who know the stuff from the radio. The fact we're getting Comin' Under Fire is pretty incredible at this point

im glad that they're switching out songs for the set this year. the band gets to play a good variety of songs over the tour while still staying under the 90 minute limit. i'd be happy seeing either CUF or Billy really
maybe This Guitar could be switched out for other acoustic renditions of hits too (Miss You In A Heartbeat, WLAHC, We Belong, etc)

Where's this idea that Comin Under Fire and Billy's Got A Gun are interchangeable even coming from?
Die Hard the Hunter and Billy's Got A Gun are likely the two that will switch up. Why would it even be a consideration to switch up a song that has NEVER been played live with a song that has been played live on more than one tour?

It's coming straight off the setlist that was taped to the stage in St. Louis. People who got to do the stage tour saw it and photographed it. Billy/CUF is the planned rotation. DHTH and TLFL stay in the setlist.

All I can say is I'm going to be pretty irritated if the show I attend doesn't have Comin Under Fire played.... I kind of think Billy/Die Hard would probably be better songs to rotate. Both are sort of similar style of "epic"/"story" type songs. Although, I'd much rather boot This Guitar, shorten the acoustic set and just play CUF, Billy & Die Hard. It's all good though. At the end of the day it's still a pretty good set Where's this idea that Comin Under Fire and Billy's Got A Gun are interchangeable even coming from? I suspect the choice of which two songs to rotate is about logistics. They've shortened DHTH so they can include another song and still stay within their 90 minutes. Joe actually leaves the stage during DHTH once the guitar section kicks in. He switches to a different over-shirt and gets a very short break. I could go for a shorter acoustic section, too, but... that's when the band gets a bit of rest from trying to cover that massive ramp.

Giving credit where it's due to the band as well as putting it all in perspective, I'll say it's amazing we are in 2024 and we are all actively discussing the places of CUF, BGAG and DHTH in a stadium setlist. With that said, playing CUF is absolutely a special event as it's never been played live before now (and was hinted at on social media before the tour!). Why would they switch this out with BGAG or any other song in the set and play this only in select cities (nevermind the fact that it sounds PHENOMENAL live!)? Speaking for me personally, while CUF was not the only reason I grabbed a ticket in the 11th hour and made the trip to St. Louis, it was a BIG reason why I did it in the first place - I have to think there are many fans doing the same that would be disappointed if it wasn't there! I do get the rationale of DHTH/TLFL being prioritized as they are on side A of the album and more well known than either CUF or BGAG, however I have to think a "deep cut" on Pyro or Hysteria is a much different story than any other album due to the fact that so many people bought both albums. For 99% of the bands in existence, Pyro would be their biggest album...Leppard just happened to make another album that was bigger and arguably better. For that reason alone I don't think it's just a diehard fan's dream to have a set that could include all of the above when we're celebrating such a milestone anniversary. I agree 100%. I'm going to be mad if CUF is not played at the one show I am going to on this tour. I like BGAG but I have seen it live before. Thanks for all your videos. I was wondering if you took a power bank with you to charge your phone during the show. I've been there too.

A few things jump out at me. I love the intro for Rock Rock, I think the steam effects should be on long enough for the band to be already in position for when it dissipates. They've saved some time by going from Rock Rock into the edited version of Rocket. They've also saved time by cutting the ending to Armageddon It and going straight to Animal, they've done this on previous tours and tbh I really don't like the ending of Armageddon It live as I think it drags on way too much. 73 is fantastic live. It comes across really well. CUF, TLFL and DHTH are flow together without a break, you can hear how the effects at the end each merge into the effects of the next seamlessly. This is why I think the first song of the 3 is the one thats been chosen to be rotated. The acoustic section is too long.
