The Story So Far colored vinyl release that never came out from Target years ago is now listed by two sellers with different names in the same city on consecutive listings. I messaged one of them asking if they actually had it on hand and waiting for a reply. There was a thread for this release but it may have been deleted since the item never came out as I couldn't find it now.

Is it available to order yet? If this sees the light of day it will be one of the strangest releases ever IMO. Its 5 years removed from the original release and seems a bit out of touch if it comes out now after so many false promises. |

Was your original order still in the system or did you or Target eventually cancel it? It was in there for a few years. But when I went in to pre-order under the new release date, my old order was gone. I did not pay attention previously as to guess when they cancelled it. |

They are a disgrace to the publishing world and clearly do not care about the fans who paid good money a year ago. Target never charged my credit card for this release to date. |

Release date pushed back again to 2 February 2024.
I seriously doubt we will see this! Why are they toying with us yet again!!

It looks like it has been taken down from the Target website at least temporarily. The urban legend rages on.
EDIT Dec. 28: Now it is back up on the website a couple of days later. I checked yesterday and it still wasn't there at that time.

My copy was delivered yesterday and the mailer was warped a bit. The cover and inner sleeves are also curved a bit but the actual records appear to be fine. I've looked them over several times and they both look good and flat, if that makes any sense. If I have to, I'll see if I can return them in-store. Awesome to finally have them in hand though after however many years.

I still think this is a strange release, up there with HMV producing a clear vinyl version of the (then out of print) Vault greatest hits a few years ago.

Yeah, there is so much colored vinyl coming out left and right the past few years for any random release from the past by any artist. I get the regular mailings from eil.com and every one of them is filled with new colored vinyl releases by any number of artists. |

I managed to win a copy on eBay for 24 Euros, 42 Euros in total from a seller in Ireland. Great price, there are other copies available from other sellers in the US but they are twice as much and shipping is twice as well . Plus there are no custom fees within the EU, so I’m happy about that😄. Looking to find the Best of Japanese Tour Edition which includes Kick as well😄

Was the Japanese edition released on vinyl? No, just CD, they re-re-re-released the entire studio album catalog (excluding the independent releases), to coincide with World Tour last October, most of them in mini LP format on SHM. Now, I can’t afford the entire catalogue but I’m going for the Best of because it says Tour Edition on the cover and includes Kick, so it’s a bit different than any other edition😄 |
