He’s 64 and a half lmao Wait..Phil is near 70 and doing that with no issues? 😲 Bless him..lol.. Rob Can we not declare 64 "is near 70"? I turned 64 two days ago. I certainly don't consider myself "near 70". Maybe in another four years, but not now.

Given that we are on night 2 of a back to back I thought Joe may not sound as strong or struggle a bit…nope. Sounds just as good to me as he did last night.

That Brad guy is ripping on Leppard on FB. Comment after comment. Yet on all three nights, I think Lepp sound clear as a bell, even from a seat far away and on a cell phone. Same guy also commented that Nikki must have fired his sound guy as Crue sounded terrible. To which the Crue fans backed him up by saying the sound should be terrible at the start of any tour. Yet, Lepp don’t seem to have that trouble…

You couldn’t even hear the guitar, they had the bass way up drowning everything out.

Just got home, I was on the floor on the handicapped elevated platform, and I can assure you that fans on the floor were definitely not sitting for Def Leppard.
Here's my brief review:
The rain, thankfully, went away well before the show, but since there was lightning in the area, the fans were kept from entering the floor. Classless Act took the stage and started playing just as the fans were being let in. I wasn't rushing in, so I can't say anything about their performance.
Joan Jett went over really well. Obviously, "I Love Rock N' Roll" and "Hate Myself For Loving You" got the biggest reaction, but surprisingly "Crimson and Clover" got a very big response as well.
Poison has always been a big favorite in Florida, and they delivered strong here. The whole stadium seemed to be into their set from start to finish, and you could argue the reaction for them was as strong as it was for Motley and Def Leppard (and with the shortened set, the energy never went down). C.C. doing "Eruption" was Eddie Van Halen's trademark striped design on the big screen got a nice ovation. Only having one ballad in the set (they did "Every Rose Has It's Thorn", "Something To Believe In" got left on the shelf this time), just made this non-stop rock. Bret actually flubbed a few lyrics, which is hilarious since he does these songs constantly with his solo band.
I'm not the biggest Motley fan, but it seemed like their timing was off at the start of the show, and a few times Mick's guitar seemed lost in the mix. Vince actually sang a lot of the lyrics, certainly better than some of his solo shows, but by the end of the set you could tell he was running out of gas. The fans were into the hits, and the dancing backup singers got some big reactions whenever they were put on the screen. Nikki and Tommy yapping on the mic seemed to go a little long. Overall, they were fine, but I would say Poison got a bigger reaction.
Def Leppard hit the stage, and the ballsy move of opening with two new songs definitely kept the crowd from immediately going crazy at the start. Animal warmed them back up, and by Foolin' and Armageddon It, the crowd was back in the swing. The acoustic set brought the energy down again, but the final run of hits had the crowd getting more and more active again. These shows are a marathon for the crowd, and I can see people just getting tired as the night wears on. That said, the band was fantastic, Joe sounds great, and while Rick's bass drum seemed a bit loud on "Love Bites" they continue to put on a tight show.
It was just so great to be able to see Def Lep live again. I know there is all this talk about the Stadium Tour going international, but I really, REALLY would like a headline tour in support of the album so we can get more than a 90 minute set.
Oh, and they had the tour shirts in XXXL, which as a 6'4" guy, makes me very happy.

I would agree that it was an excellent show but the crowd was much quieter and sitting for most of the set. The reality is for diehards we will love it no matter what. However, they need to adjust the set. 4 new songs just takes away from the energy. I also think a 7 hour show is way too long, especially a work night. The show ended around 11:30 and most people were too tired. Again, i thought they sounded great and much better than MC but the energy was much higher for Crue.

“We had our concert in Orlando last night. We were supposed to start at 4:30pm but started 30mins later due to inclement weather. The concert was EXCELLENT; except for the fact that Def Leppard should've stuck to their older songs and not try to promote new ones nor play any from the 2000s. The audience present were all in their 50s so not only were we "past our bedtime" at 10pm when they started playing but we were literally falling asleep with some of the romantic songs at that time. Had they played their high energy songs from the 80s, it could've been a great hit. I do have to admit that the show by Motley Crue was absolutely breathtaking. My hats off to them... great job! Poison was killing it - it's like watching them when they were young and Joan Jett was a badass. ❤ ❤ ❤”

It’s probably the same guy who’s been posting pictures of the audience sitting down during Leps set. He’s on a mission on Facebook and Twitter, pathetic really. Weird that someone would do that to try and prove their favourite band is “bigger” than the other.
