When will the induction tickets go on sale? My daughter and I want to be there. How formal is it? This is taken from the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame website The 34th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Klipsch Audio, will take place on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The Rock Hall unveil its 2019 Inductee exhibit at the Museum in Cleveland, Ohio in conjunction with the celebration. Ticket on-sale dates will be announced in January. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2019 Induction Ceremony will again have its television premiere on HBO, and a radio broadcast on SiriusXM. Because it's at the Barclay Center Arena, there is no dress code per say. When I went to the Guns N Roses one in Cleveland, there was no dress code either, unless you are on the floor at a table and those tickets are PRETTY expensive ! Good luck in getting tickets !

Out of all the things happening this year i'm most looking forward to seeing the band get Inducted. Not because it matters but because in some way it's validation on all levels that they deserve to be recognized by their peers, the industry in general and most of all the community which played a small part in getting them inducted.

I can't agree more. With knowing that Def Leppard obtained the most fan votes than any artist inducted previously, and Joe saying their induction is, more or less, a thank you to their fans; to me its the most exciting. I failed to secure any tickets to the RRHOF (well at least the pre-sale as apparently they were sold out in like 3 minutes) but to me to see a band you grew up with and believe they are like gods goes to show that I'm not the only one who believed that. How they were no inducted previously simply blows my mind as they had a lot more to do with the sound of the 80's than most. To me, and I'm pretty sure all of you, Def Leppard IS the Rock of Ages

If you have a hall of fame membership you have access to the presale. Ticketmaster has this new waiting room thing and when I got "in line" there were 2000+ people in front of me. There was very little left by the time it was my turn but I got two tickets if the upper tier. Not great but at least I can go. Hopefully there are good tickets for the public sale.

Glad to hear you got tickets, Dawn! I wasn't planning to go anyway...was just responding to the other poster who said that they had already failed to acquire tickets in the presale several days ago, when as far as I was aware there had not yet been any official sales other than donors who called the RRHOF directly for tickets. It was a choose your own seats from the map situation, then? I saw some people posting on Facebook that they had a lot of trouble because they kept clicking on seats and being told that they were taken. Hope you have an amazing time!

Yes it was choose your own. This whole waiting room thing is strange, too. Since they assign random spots, it seems as though it no longer matters if you're the first one in.

When I got on the TM site and saw there were 2,000+ people ahead of me I thought for sure I was doomed. I lucked out though and got two in the 2nd level. And TM has the audacity to tack on about $40 per ticket in fees! For what, their amazing service??😂

I know, their fees are ridiculous.
I thought I was doomed, too, but thankfully I got in. I think it was around 10:05 am when I got in and there was hardly anything left. After I got my tickets I checked back for the hell of it and there were only the very expensive VIP tickets left.

Wouldn’t miss getting to see them inducted for anything! Just waiting to see where our tickets are. Hoping at $500/ticket that they’re decent seats. I wish this was in Cleveland though!

We got tickets at the last minute before everything was sold out. Talk about a stressful situation! 😤😫😠I’m just glad to be going. Don’t care where I’m sitting! Just wanted to be there! 🙂

No, we didn't get any. But a friend told me that we can go to the Hall of Fame and watch it on a big screen there. Being s only an hour away that's what we're going to do .

I am very new (and I guess naive) about how this works. So the tickets will open to the general public this Friday, right? There is a very wide of range of prices = but I even saw $56??? And anyone who has them already is a member of RRHOF?

Does anyone have any idea where the different prices of seats will get you in the venue? I was thinking $56 right up the top behind a pillar?! For $86, $131 and $256 price would they be much better? And I don't even know if the $506 would give you a great closer up view. Bit of a guess lottery here. And still...I am considering this with a transatlantic flight...I need to have a word with myself (it may involve 'YES!' !)...

The Citi card pre-sale has started. Another opportunity to buy tickets before the general public on-sale begins.

Does this event typically sell out? I've never had any interest in the RNRHOF induction ceremonies until now.
