I've been keeping an eye on the Speakeasy social media accounts in search of a broadcast date for Joe's interview with David Fricke. Still no official broadcast schedule released by Speakeasy, but this is on the SE Facebook page: "January 2019" Just found the following schedule info on the TV Guide website: Season 4, Episode 1 - Sting and Shaggy - January 7th 2019 Season 4, Episode 3 - Lenny Kravitz and Sean Lennon - January 21st 2019 Season 4, Episode 4 - Lynyrd Skynyrd and Rob Tannenbaum - January 28th 2019 Season 4, Episode 5 - Michael McDonald and Russ Titelman - February 4th 2019 Season 4, Episode 6 - Billy Gibbons and Eric Holland - February 11th 2019

Joe is doing some great interviews. His interviews are more reflective i find. I think he is at the point in his career where he can relax a bit ...yet still maintain that amazing work ethic the entire band has.

As of now Speakeasy isn't among the programs available on the PBS nor World Channel websites for streaming but even if it was their FAQ says their programs are geo-blocked to the U.S. Somebody will probably throw it on YouTube eventually like Shawn says. I noticed that my Tivo OnePass picked up this episode for January 20 on the local Detroit PBS World Channel.
worldchannel dot org (Had to list it that way due to the redirect as discussed in different thread).

I know what you mean as it is available to record on my DVR on 1/21 when the "re-run" airs on the parent PBS network. But for some reason in Atlanta, the local GSU (GA State Univ) show pre-empts any premier of the Speakeasy show, including last week's 1/7 episode, which is available later tonight as a re-run. You'd think something of this quality would trump all programming on a Monday night when it comes to public access TV. But better than no runs at all! Got my DVR set!

Awsome.. one of the best. For me it was full of information / education of the band all those dates.. He's like a walking library. Great interview. Thx for sharing.

Have to say that I really enjoyed most of that. I went in to this thinking it was going to be the usual stuff, so it was pleasing to see that it focused a lot on their early career and also David Fricke asked some very good questions, in particular those about the relationships within the band. Some of the stuff he said about Steve didn't sit well with me, its also very telling that they brought Viv in with one eye on being able to sustain a career as a live band and the recording stuff would kind of be a bonus.
