The 11 hour drive to Hazard and 12 hour drive home was well worth it. I've only ever really seen Viv play inside of Def Leppard, and always thought he was a good guitarist. But seeing him play outside of Leppard last night really floored me. Wow. He is AMAZING!! Damn ... https://www.instagram.com/p/BW8f4kiAiPw

I bought tickets the day they went on sale. Made the 3 hour drive from Louisville. I was expecting to see the venue at least close to capacity, however there were only about 150 people in attendance. I questioned the decision to play in Hazard, KY of all places because it's located in the middle of nowhere. I'm willling to bet the band said the same thing when they walked on stage. Yes, those of us that were there were into the show but I was embarrased for the band. They deserved better for the incredible performance they put on.

The guys say over and over in interview after interview, it's a labor of love. I'm greatfull that they did go. Phil's post speaks volumes on the men in this band. Stand up guys for sure.
