The story behind this image:  Children of Telethon met the band Def LeppardDuring the Stgo Rock City Festival, held on September 29 and 30 at Estadio Monumental, the British quintet invited a group of children from Teletón Santiago to hold a meeting with the band, as well as preferential locations for their concert last Saturday . Matías Torres, Elías Fernández and Benjamín Covarrubias, were the representatives of Telethon Santiago who, together with Professor Sebastián Mardones, were able to meet Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Phil Collen, Vivian Campbell and Rick Allen, members of Def Leppard, of the closing of the Stgo Rock Festival 2017. In the prelude to their presentation, the group not only took pictures with the children, but its members also took the time to know the work that Telethon does in Chile. Drummer Rick Allen said he was surprised by the work of this work that promotes the rehabilitation and inclusion, same characteristics with which he has built his career, after the accident he had in 1985 when he was amputated an arm, but returning to the alignment of the band in 1987. Allen, is recognized as an example of resilience, who has continued his career, through a battery specially adapted to his requirements. After this meeting, the British quintet invited the children to wait for their presentation in a VIP lounge, and a preferential place on the side of the stage to participate in the presentation that ended the two days of rock, held at the Estadio Monumental, on 29 and 30 September. The timing was defined by the children, as a great opportunity to share with Def Leppard, especially with Rick Allen, one of the leading referents at the Telethon Music Workshop, considered as an inspiration for inclusion, for children in development of their artistic abilities.
