Phil was taking requests. Apparently he likes to play the riff from Promises because he played it three times. I requested WOAA three times and ATH, but no luck...lol. I was in the middle of typing Desert Song and Ring of Fire when he ended it.  |

I am on the train on my way in.
Been a bit of a hectic day. I have had this booked since March and I am staying over in a hotel tonight.
I was made redundant in September and just got a call about starting a new job on Thursday (they wanted me tomorrow but I told them I am coming here).
Only downside is with all the rushing about I have left my beers at home!
New job and meeting Def Leppard? Not a bad day!
If anyone sees me in the arena drunk later feel free to give me a slap to wake me up!

Saw the DnO last December in Sheffield, but this is my first DL concert and I've been a fan since Hysteria. Now can you see why I'm excited !!!!!! |

Just been in the meet and greet.
It was over quick but I managed to say what I wanted. I said in front of pretty much all of them without going all 'Wayne's World'
I said 'Thanks for everything, you are the first band I ever got into and my first gig was at Don Valley in Sheffield' and Joe said 'Ah cool'
Phil and Rick Allen were talking amongst themselves.
I asked Joe why Don Valley hadn't been released on DVD yet and he said it has?!
That took me back a bit and he said it will be released?!
I am in a bar in the arena now and I'm still shaking!

LOL Stephanie, I didn't get to see it until about a half hour ago because I had to take my son for a behavior assessment appointment, but I was thinking WOAA and Desert Song too when I was watching it. |
