Imo that has to be live. Joe is def live and the tail end solo of pssom sound different so that looks to be steve playing live...

They were great! I believe they were enjoying the cheerleaders! The mic cutting out sucks though. Seems to happen occasionally to the lead singer at shows anymore. It happened at a show I was at last night.

Just watched it again - definitely sounded live. I watched Channel 4 and I thought it was a nice touch that they mentioned Viv and sent best wishes. I recorded both channel 4 and sky sports, but watched sky when I realised channel 4 were going to miss the start of their set as they were still on an ad break. That was good of them to mention viv though. |

Thanks so much Cindy! Great to be able to see it. Joe sang great, band sounded and looked awesome. I will make a blanket statement and say that everyone is missing Viv. Thanks to Steve for filling in for Viv. It's all good. The band plays on and Vivian will be back and good as new before we know it. |

Just saw that Miami won...that makes this day even better! As a Broncos fan it always warms my heart to see the Raiders lose, though at this point I almost feel sorry for them. |

i heard viv in the backing tracks for LGR the most and he was there in spirit EDIT: i'm not saying they weren't playing live... Do we know what Steve sounds like singing? Could be similar to Vivian's vocals Steve has a great voice. As far as similar to Viv, I don't know if I'd say that? Hmmmm |

Well, not for me, I'm still pissed Miami beat the Patriots in their first game and they are both in the same division, so now the Pats have to win tomorrow to be in first place in their division. I really wished Oakland would've won! But with that being said I knew the only highlight of this game was going to be DL anyway. |

Thank you Cindy, RB and everyone for sharing the experience. I definitely missed seeing Viv, but it's great to see Leppard get the great exposure. Bummer about the technical difficulties, but I think it was still great! I hope the people at Wembley enjoyed it as much as I did. |

Thank You Thank You Thank You to Cindy, RB and anyone that I may have forgotten for sharing the experience. I wasn't able to see it due to CBS showing the different game. But I loved catching it here. You all never let me down and come through with a touchdown everytime. Was a real bummer about Joes mic but they handled it the best they knew how and it was touching that he did mention Viv at the end. Job well done by all.

The channel 4 coverage was pretty really, all week their radio ads were advertising the fact that they were showing Def Leppard, yet they f*ck it up by cutting to an ad break as they were about to take the stage. As a result they missed Animal as you can see in the video above. Luckily Sky Sports showed the whole thing.
