interesting... thoughts behind that prediction? Have they played a leppard track in any previous shows? (2009-2011) To be honest i'll be very surprised if they do, they have so much material to choose from why play a leppard track? I will say i hope that Joe gets up and plays 10 X Bigger than Love with Nick and Vega. I think that would be very cool and rare. They played animal when I saw them a couple of years ago. ok makes sense now thx

Awww, shucks! Rubbing it in. :-) I was going to go to the Dublin date on the 18th but I will be flying to Seattle to be there for my dad's 82th birthday on the 19th. He wanted all of his kids to be there to celebrate his birthday. Sorry, Joe ;-) but my beloved father always trumps any of my wants and desires these days. Next time, my friend. Best of luck to all of you in Down n Outz.

It occurred to me last night that this is the first headline tour that DnO have ever done. It will be interesting to see what they throw in to the set, as I don't believe it will be full of just Mott the Hoople songs. I think songs like Tie Your Mother Down and Animal will be played as they've done them before at other shows.

After you mentioned Animal i asked Share (DNO bass player) via PM if they were rehearsing any leps songs and she replied with "no lep songs this time" i also warned her about her tech wolfie liking women's clothing.... To be honest i think they have lots of time to add extra songs to the set and it's likely at some point they might throw in a lep song .... i hope they don't unless it's a rare track or like i said before they Jam on 10 x Bigger than Love with opening band Vega.

So i wonder where this DNO Documentary will fit in? Will it be a bonus DVD for the next Album? or will it be part of a Live DVD? I don't see it being a standalone release?
It would have been nice if leppard had a doc crew along for the ride on this new album recording.... but considering they have an entire documentary in the can from vegas that isn't being released any time soon i doubt any more footage will be shot until that is dealt with.

I look forward to seeing this documentary. But I also am still waiting for the Vegas documentary to see the light of day. When I heard they were doing that, I was excited to finally see behind the scenes with DL, and then no one wanted to take a chance on it. Dumb TV execs!

Quote from Nick Workman about how Vega became the opener for the Down N Outz UK tour. NI ROCKS – You’ve a short headlining tour at the start of November followed by a tour of the UK and Ireland supporting Joe Elliott’s Down ‘n’ Outz in December. Did the latter come about as a result of working with Joe on the album? NICK – Yeah. I’ve been getting to know Joe. I’m not saying we bosom buddies, don’t get me wrong. I wouldn’t want to overstate the relationship. Obviously over the past few years I’ve been sending Joe demos and asking his opinions. I’ve met him a couple of times. When it came to this, someone said to me did I know that Down n Outz had announced that were doing Planet Rockstock and were they going to be doing more touring? So I actually e-mailed Joe and I said just in case the Down ‘n’ Outz are planning on touring don’t forget little old Vega. He said they were, and this was just before he was going off to go round the States with Kiss, so he told me who I needed to contact and put me in touch with the agent. It came down to Joe for the final decision in the end and good-on-him he chose us. Source

Maybe the documentary will pop up as a bonus disc for their next album? Or they could do a ltd edition dvd like they did with the London live show a few years ago.
